Cornelius Flynn<p>Any <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>linux</span></a> buffs had any joy getting Nuance Dragon Professional (PC) working?<br>I know I can’t do anything about penguining Vellum (Mac only) but the Dragon dictation software is bloody good and both of us use it. <br>I have an EU software solution for all my other writing needs in Papyrus 12, and got it working on <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/linuxmint" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>linuxmint</span></a> using a flatpack <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/playonlinux4" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>playonlinux4</span></a>. <br>I can keep a Winblows system running for dictation if I have to, but with the USA behaving strangely, I want to have as little reliance on Microsft as possible. They could feasibly just shut all the systems down, couldn’t they?<br>Not panic, just trying to be prepared.
