Thomas Svensson 🖖<p>Been trimming my <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/StackOverflow" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>StackOverflow</span></a> account. Including removing <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Google" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Google</span></a> and <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/GitHub" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GitHub</span></a> logins, to only use email login from now on.</p><p>But can't seem to find any <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/2FA" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>2FA</span></a>, <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Passkey" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Passkey</span></a> or any other way to make the account more secure than just plain old <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/email" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>email</span></a> and <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/passwd" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>passwd</span></a> combo.</p><p>Gone over everything I could find in settings, but darn it giving up and asking here:</p><p>- Is there no way to add account security on StackOverflow - and its sister sites - than email/passwd?</p>
