I have lived in the San Diego, California, region for 27 years.<br>

I have many hobbies (including writing, photography, computing, history, and music), but photography is one I have spent a lot of time cultivating. For this post, I wanted to highlight the beautiful and endangered Torrey Pines (pinus torreyana) in fog along the coast. In an arid climate, the Torrey Pine gets a lot of its moisture from coastal fog that comes onshore in the mornings before dissipating in the afternoons.<br>
