PentaxkeRemembering Korchnoi.<br> <br> Shout out to Viktor Korchnoi who would have turned 94 today and which is considered to be the strongest player never becoming world champion (although he is the only player to have won or drawn—in individual game(s)—against every reigning World Chess Champion.<br> <br> Still have fond memories of when I played my strongest opponent in a <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/simul?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#simul</a> in <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/Ostend?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Ostend</a>, <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/Belgium?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Belgium</a> in 2004. Needless to say, I lost gracefully.
