d4doome<p>Whistle Stop is a 1946 film noir starring George Raft and Ava Gardner. It doesn't go where you think it's going. Ava had gone to Chicago to find glamour, excitement, money. Now she's come back to the loser she loves. hanktank61<p>Another old hype flared up this week: Classic Western movies.<br>Before WW2 and pre-code.</p><p>Curious how I would see them again through 70 year old eyes instead of the young ones from some body who ¨knew it all¨.<br>Two years ago I found all The Avengers Emma Peel/John Steed-era back.
