Robin<p>Home from the <a href="https://mastodon.green/tags/allotment" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>allotment</span></a> with beans and a quantity of <a href="https://mastodon.green/tags/cardoons" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cardoons</span></a> (just a couple of stalks pictured). Our first time growing these. While they have looked nice ornamentally, what are winning ways of serving these? With pasta or with meat? Or fried I've heard?</p>
Mandy Watson<p>From a 50p packet of seeds came this wonderful <a href="https://beekeeping.ninja/tags/cardoon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cardoon</span></a>. It's surrounded by bronze fennel in my edible front garden project, edged with golden marjoram, chives and there are blackcurrants in there too. Fab leaves and pollinators love it.</p><p><a href="https://beekeeping.ninja/tags/gardening" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>gardening</span></a> <a href="https://beekeeping.ninja/tags/garden" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>garden</span></a> <a href="https://beekeeping.ninja/tags/gardeninguk" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>gardeninguk</span></a> <a href="https://beekeeping.ninja/tags/cynara" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cynara</span></a> <a href="https://beekeeping.ninja/tags/herbs" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>herbs</span></a> <a href="https://beekeeping.ninja/tags/ediblegardening" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ediblegardening</span></a> <a href="https://beekeeping.ninja/tags/gyo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>gyo</span></a> <a href="https://beekeeping.ninja/tags/cardoons" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cardoons</span></a> <a href="https://beekeeping.ninja/tags/pollinators" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>pollinators</span></a></p>

AI6YR Ben<p>Hmm, turns out I have Italian <a href="https://m.ai6yr.org/tags/cardoons" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cardoons</span></a> taking over here too. Weed, but <a href="https://m.ai6yr.org/tags/edible" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>edible</span></a>.
