Pinky<p>Learning all kinds of new info about boat paint, especially two-part LPU paint! Got the 2nd coat of primer onto the boot stripe today (photo shows 1 coat from yesterday). Tomorrow is sanding and first coat of Flag Blue (a dark blue)! Installed a new battery charger and it's working perfect.</p><p>Had a Mastervolt Powercharger 12/40-3 that stopped working correctly after Boatsgiving cruise last year. It would work intermittently and then fault. After asking a local servicer, it sounded like the solution was to replace. Also dinghyed with friends in the evening and sat the bridge piling lights have been changed to pink for Bloomaroo at the Wharf this weekend. </p><p>If you come to DC to enjoy the blossoms, you'll be in for a treat. Water was about a 0.9’ above low water. </p><p>I’ve been dreading the return for almost 7 weeks. Today, water was 1.3’ above low water. And rising all the way to 1.4’. We drifted through without a problem. </p><p>What. A. Relief. (And a testament to learning to wait for the higher tides under the full moon.)</p>
