Infrapink (he/his/him)<p>I'm officially caught up now, and THOM IS BACK! I really hope the writers realised what a mistake they made in adapting him out and he joins the main cast after this.</p><p>Natasha O'Keeffe is just magnificent as Lanfear, and Ceara Coveney shows a whole other side of Elayne. Infrapink (he/his/him)<p>We finally get an episode focused on Rand, as all other plot threads are omitted so this episode can entirely cover the trials of Rhuidean. Damn, Josha Stradowski can act. Starcade<p>Wheel of Time <br>Season 3, Episode 6<br>"The Shadow in the Night"</p><p>Like the preceeding episode a lot happens in this one</p><p>We see a younger version of Liandrin, her viscious use of power when provoked and an encounter with Ishamael.</p><p>Lanfear continues to torment Egwene in dreams, however Eqwene is learning how to possibly control situations.</p><p>Perrin and Alanna are recovering, and finally heal, the latter of whom with the help of the Cauthon girls. Faile is falling for Perrin.</p><p>Nynaeve, Mat, and Min, are searching for a braclet while Elayne belts out a tune in town with Mat's friend Thom</p><p>Moghedien is everywhere, digustingly tampering with food for the Black Ajah and later messing with Nynaeve and Elayne.</p><p>Lanfear tells Moiraine she is sending something their way.</p><p>Egwene confronts Rand about Lanfear, telling him she's a Forsaken.</p><p>Rand displays his power against another Forsaken but in the process accidentally kills someone.</p><p>Lastly there's a growing army that's about to attack.</p><p><a href="https://sfba.social/tags/WheelOfTime" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>WheelOfTime</span></a></p>

Only 2 episodes left this season so they better get to the "point" soon. </p><p>Obviously, they won't get it all done in 2 episodes, so I assume Season 4 is already in the works, if they're not actually shooting it now.</p>

Infrapink (he/his/him)<p>Lots of child marriage and rage against it because this show really wants to be Game of Thrones. Beautiful visuals and great characters. Everything is moving Very Fast, but that's what you get when you've got 14 books to go through with a minimum of three overlapping and interacting storylines happening in different places of the world</p>

Thrilling!</p>

But I just finished s03e04, and folks, this show is truly aiming for the big leagues. I can't say if my perspective is off, but that was an hour very, very well spent.</p><p>It still helps watching with a book reader to fill in some gaps though. I read the series about 11-12 years ago and remember little, so I ask my partner for background probably half a dozen times per episode.</p>
