forgottrekSomething I've been thinking about lately regarding <a href="https://friendsofdesoto.social/tags/streaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#streaming</a> is that a show needs to be a breakout HIT on its first season or its at risk of getting canceled. Shows like <a href="https://friendsofdesoto.social/tags/TheAcolyte" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#TheAcolyte</a> I think deserve more than 1 season. It was certainly miles ahead of the <a href="https://friendsofdesoto.social/tags/kenobi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#kenobi</a> series yet because that one had fan service its probably gonna get a 2nd season it didn't even plan on doing yet the show with NEW ideas, a NEW setting, NEW characters but with all the same structural problems gets cut short. <a href="https://friendsofdesoto.social/tags/starwars" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#starwars</a>

Miguel L.Just realized about <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/TheArk" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#TheArk</a> : Dialogue is "plain". Most characters talk without trying to sound elegant or smart, like most "prestige" shows aim to. They talk like normal people, and is refreshing. BTW, this was something trolls hated on <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/TheAcolyte" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#TheAcolyte</a> , another show I love.
