Ivy<p>My mom will need to self-test probably Tuesday since a coworker got covid and was at work while positive (she tested after work, two days after a first negative test that she took alongisde her husband who tested positive right away).</p><p>Now i know it's best to swab your throat as well as the nose, but i need to convince my mom, and probably ideally have a video to show her how it should be done???</p><p>I was tested once and they swabbed my throat first (in early 2022!) and it felt like a quick brush of the cheeks but idk if that's accurate to tell her to do that xD</p><p>To clarify, my mom wears an ffp2 at work and has an air purifier running all day in her office where she's alone, just sometimes visited by coworkers at the door. Her risks are low, but she's still masking at home and isolating now until it's been 5 days post exposure to test, or that she gets symptoms. She's okay right now, no symptoms. She's being careful. </p><p><a href="https://zeroes.ca/tags/CovidTest" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CovidTest</span></a> <a href="https://zeroes.ca/tags/AntigenTest" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AntigenTest</span></a> <a href="https://zeroes.ca/tags/SelfTest" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SelfTest</span></a> <a href="https://zeroes.ca/tags/AutoTest" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AutoTest</span></a> <a href="https://zeroes.ca/tags/CovidIsNotOver" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CovidIsNotOver</span></a></p>
