Adjusting his nomenclature very slightly, if only for the sake of preserving a mnemonic rhyme scheme, we may refer to his four types as Tenacity, Authority, Plausibility (à priori pleasing praiseworthiness), and full‑fledged Scientific Inquiry.</p><p>Reference —</p><p>Peirce, C.S.
