PCH Update 2/15/25 - Pacific Coast Highway is now under a soft closure by @Caltrans between Chautauqua Boulevard and Carbon Beach Terrace for emergency responders and utilities only. The public is not permitted due to continued cleanup efforts and heavy vehicles in the work zone. Previously issued passes are no longer valid or being distributed.

All these canyons are likely to have some kind of issue now that the hillsides above are burnt, and homes/landscape incinerated. I am not an official or expert on this, but as a disaster watcher these areas would make me nervous. (that said, good chunks of these areas have no one living there now, homes all destroyed)
