Ben Gleason<p>Here's a <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/Mastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Mastodon</span></a> question that I'm hoping for some input on. If you look at my profile locally, it correctly has my website as being <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/verified" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>verified</span></a>. But if you look at it from Mastodon.world, my profile shows my Lichess account as "verified," which shouldn't even be possible. Does anyone have any ideas why that would happen? Or how to fix it? <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/Mastodon_online" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Mastodon_online</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/Mastodon_world" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Mastodon_world</span></a></p>
Ben Gleason<p>Yet another intro...</p><p>This was the first instance I joined after Twitter imploded.</p><p>I moved to <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/zirk_us" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>zirk_us</span></a> as it's smaller and more aligned with my interests. However, they defederated from <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/Threads" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Threads</span></a>, and while I understand that many want to avoid Threads, I actually do want to connect with them. </p><p>So I moved to <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/universeodon_com" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>universeodon_com</span></a>, partly inspired by <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://universeodon.com/@georgetakei" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>georgetakei</span></a></span>. But that instance has been unstable for weeks.</p><p>So I've come full circle to <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/mastodon_online" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mastodon_online</span></a>. With luck, I won't have to move again soon.</p>
Ben Gleason<p>Strongly considering moving away from <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/universeodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>universeodon</span></a> as it's been unstable for weeks now. In addition, I can't verify my website with the rel="me" link, and my lists often don't load.</p><p>If I do move, it will likely be back to <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/mastodon_online" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mastodon_online</span></a>, where I started out to begin with.</p>
