The Ark Podcast” ?!!</p><p>This sounds like it might have a future 😅 :packetcat_wink: </p><p>“Why and how is it surviving when other low budget sci-fi shows are not?” might be the best question — and other than my personal effort here to amplify and get some momentum with Star Trek and Stargate fandom, what’s getting traction?</p><p>Perhaps it’s the unrepentant cheesiness of Dr Who, as some have claimed. (Not enough of a a Whovian to catch the homages that others are seeing.)</p><p>So far, all I see for podcasting about the show is coverage on the general SyFy podcast. So, any live watch posts here are likely novel content.</p><p>But other than a few countries, the distribution outside the US is spread across a plethora of smaller linear and streaming services. In addition to ones I’ve noted already, it’s on Binge in Australia, Sky in Ireland and Switzerland, Universal-Prime in France, M+ in Spain, Canal+ in Austria, and BluTV in Turkey.</p><p>Clearly, the younger but dedicated fandom for ‘The Ark’ is talking about it elsewhere and who knows where they’re watching and talking about it. (Not checking for Discord channels, the subreddit has about 2.5K users.). But somehow across all of it, there was enough viewership and fan support to get the show renewed once.</p><p>There is a wiki on Fandom but they’re not keeping up with the season 2 releases. <a href="https://the-ark.fandom.com/wiki/The_Ark" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">the-ark.fandom.com/wiki/The_Ar</span><span class="invisible">k</span></a></p><p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://twipped.social/@twipped" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>twipped</span></a></span> </p><p><a href="https://tenforward.social/tags/TheArk" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TheArk</span></a> <a href="https://tenforward.social/tags/Fandom" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Fandom</span></a> <a href="https://tenforward.social/tags/SciFi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SciFi</span></a> <a href="https://tenforward.social/tags/Syfy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Syfy</span></a> <a href="https://tenforward.social/tags/Spectrum" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Spectrum</span></a> <a href="https://tenforward.social/tags/Peacock" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Peacock</span></a> <a href="https://tenforward.social/tags/fubo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>fubo</span></a> <a href="https://tenforward.social/tags/USANetwork" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>USANetwork</span></a> <a href="https://tenforward.social/tags/CTVSciFi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CTVSciFi</span></a> <a href="https://tenforward.social/tags/NowTV" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>NowTV</span></a> <a href="https://tenforward.social/tags/Sky" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Sky</span></a> <a href="https://tenforward.social/tags/Wow" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Wow</span></a> <a href="https://tenforward.social/tags/MagentaTV" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MagentaTV</span></a> <a href="https://tenforward.social/tags/Binge" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Binge</span></a> <a href="https://tenforward.social/tags/Universal" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Universal</span></a> <a href="https://tenforward.social/tags/MPlus" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MPlus</span></a> <a href="https://tenforward.social/tags/CanalPlus" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CanalPlus</span></a>, <a href="https://tenforward.social/tags/BluTV" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BluTV</span></a> <a href="https://tenforward.social/tags/DrWho" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DrWho</span></a> <a href="https://tenforward.social/tags/Stargate" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Stargate</span></a> <a href="https://tenforward.social/tags/StarTrek" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>StarTrek</span></a></p>
