Sean MurthyBegan <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/Gujarat" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Gujarat</a> visit at Sabarmati Ashrama where Mohandas "Mahatma" Gandhi and his wife Kasturba lived ~1918-1930. The site is now a museum mostly drawing school field trips and token visits by touring heads of state and other "VIPs". 🥺As expected, there are many "charkhas" (2) on display, and it was nice to see a volunteer using one. Soon after, the disease killed at least five more people in the area.
