Simon<p>A link to the full text of 'Spirits and Stones: Shamanism and Rock Art in Central Asia and Siberia'. It includes my essay, 'Shamans, lamas and the social effectiveness of rock art' which juxtaposes the practice of Buryat shamanism with the 'artistic materialism' of Asger Jorn. The book explores the 'wilderness of connections' between shamanic practitioners, the spirit world and the world of rock art imagery. <br><a href="https://www.academia.edu/282451/Spirits_and_Stones_Shamanism_and_Rock_Art_in_Central_Asia_and_Siberia" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">academia.edu/282451/Spirits_an</span><span class="invisible">d_Stones_Shamanism_and_Rock_Art_in_Central_Asia_and_Siberia</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/AsgerJorn" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AsgerJorn</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Buryats" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Buryats</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/shamanism" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>shamanism</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/shamans" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>shamans</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/CentralAsia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CentralAsia</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/RockArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RockArt</span></a></p>
