Daniel CooperBonjour le Fédiverse, Je m’appelle Daniel Cooper, et voici ma présentation !Après plusieurs déménagements, je compte m'installer de manière perenne sur l'instance eldritch.cafe.IntroductionJe m’appelle Daniel Cooper, je très investi sur les internet depuis 2011 d’abord avec le pseudo masterpgman puis Steel_Virgin depuis 2016 environ. J’ai surtout utilisé twitter, mais je suis désormais aussi régulièrement sur Mastodon, Instagram et Tiktok. Je n’ai jamais eu d’ambition de devenir de qu’on appelle aujourd’hui des influenceurs, c’est-à-dire de me faire une notoriété sur internet ce qui me place plutôt du côté des consommateurs, mais cela ne m’empêche pas de produire, accumulant ainsi plus de 150 000 publications sur mes différents comptes Twitter, et publiant sur différentes plateformes d’hébergement de médias audios, vidéos, textuels.Si je suis capable d’aborder tous les sujets, des plus philosophiques aux plus vulgaires, il y a certains sujets qui me tiennent à cœur parmi lesquels je compte la politique et l’homosexualité et les engagements que je porte dans ces domaines.Mes orientations politiquesPolitiquement, je porte un idéal qui se rapprocherait d’un communisme libertaire si on devait le nommer, mais qui, en réalité, oscille entre le communisme d’État et l'anarchie, entre la nécessité d’un sursaut rapide et puissant face à l’offensive ultra-libérale de la bourgeoisie, et la nécessité d’un cadre libéré de toute autorité incapable d’épargner les marginalités ; entre la volonté de construire des institutions stables à grande échelle et robuste face aux ripostes réactionnaires et celle de vivre la puissance individuelle de l’autogestion et de l’autonomie quotidienne. Pourtant, mes engagements concrets reflètent mal ces idéaux, car ils sont rares et se trouvent souvent aux côtés de la France Insoumise.En termes de politiques sexuelles, j'ai des positions qu’on peut nommer matérialistes, sans que je ne me rattache à un mouvement de pensée qui porterait ce qualificatif. Cela se résume par l’idée que les identités LGBTI se construisent comme des déviances à la norme sociale, ou plutôt au système social, représenté par l’hétérosexualité. L’homosexualité ou le parcours trans n’ont, selon moi, en tant qu'existentialiste, rien ni d’inné, ni de fatal et résultent, ou peuvent résulter de choix de l’individu face à un modèle qui ne lui convient pas. Pour autant, cette marginalisation est légitime et mérite d’être considérée et reconnue par la société en tant que telle, ce qui est différent de vouloir la normaliser comme le font des mesures comme le Mariage pour Tous. Dans ces domaines, je suis engagé dans plusieurs collectifs anarchistes de rencontres politiques autours des homosexualités dont je garderais la discrétion, ainsi que dans le collectif autogéré <a href="https://asso.lgbt/@PdRevue" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@PdRevue</a>, produisant un recueil thématique quasi-annuel composé de textes proposé par le lectorat autour des homosexualités.Le dernier sujet politique qui me tient à cœur concerne le chômage au sens très large, c'est-à-dire toutes les situations qui permettent de vivre sans être soumis au chantage au travail ou au système capitaliste. Cela comprend le chômage indemnisé (ARE), le RSA, l'AAH la retraite, et peut-être d'autres situations dont je n'ai pas connaissance. Ma volonté est de vivre moi-même le plus longtemps possible en situation chômée, mais également de militer pour que le plus de monde possible puisse vivre cette joie du temps libre. Cette volonté trouve un écho fort dans la proposition de Salaire à Vie (plus précisément, Salaire à la qualification personnelle), défendu par le collectif <a href="https://mastodon.social/@ReseauSalariat" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@ReseauSalariat</a> et Bernard Friot. J'oscille moi-même entre emploi, chômage et RSA, ce qui me donne une idée réelle des bienfaits et des problèmes liés à ces situations.Mes autres activitésAu-delà de ces sujets politiques, je produis de la musique, notamment du métal, que je compose depuis 2009 à l’aide du logiciel <a href="https://eldritch.cafe/tags/GuitarPro" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#GuitarPro</a> (5 puis 7, puis 8) et que j’enregistre ensuite avec ma guitare Vox Starstream Type 1 et ma basse Cort avec le logiciel de MAO <a href="https://eldritch.cafe/tags/Ardour7" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Ardour7</a>; de la photographie depuis 2017 avec d’abord un reflex Nikon D700 puis, depuis 2023 un Panasonic Lumix DC-G7 dont je poste les résultats depuis 2024 sur Instagram. FlavigulaI've been having a few problems with <a href="https://sonomu.club/tags/Ardour7" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Ardour7</a>, namely "Strip Silence" freezes it when "Apply" is clicked. Adding a new time signature does the same, but only sometimes. Anyone else have these problems or something similar?I'm on Arch Linux. I have one computer using a <a href="https://sonomu.club/tags/jack" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#jack</a> config that worked fine in Ardour6, and another computer running <a href="https://sonomu.club/tags/pipewire" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#pipewire</a> and <a href="https://sonomu.club/tags/pipewire" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#pipewire</a>-jack.
