I don't know if the fault is with FUSE or with the <a href="https://hear-me.social/tags/apt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>apt</span></a> installer but the net result is you cannot run any <a href="https://hear-me.social/tags/AppImage" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AppImage</span></a> file that depends on FUSE (and it appears that all of them do).
