nebunez I'm trying out the mastodon.el <a class="hashtag" href="https://fuzzyroots.net/tag/emacs" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Emacs</a> package. It actually seems to work pretty well on my little <a class="hashtag" href="https://fuzzyroots.net/tag/akkoma" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Akkoma</a> instance and was super duper easy to set up. I have had some problems with some threads not showing up in the native webapp; I'll have to see if I have the same problems here. This might be a great way to post more often, since I spend most of my time in emacs and being able to pop up a buffer to compose and send a new post is so easy. Although, they call them "toots" in the package because it's <a class="hashtag" href="https://fuzzyroots.net/tag/mastodon" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Mastodon</a> focused. 🤷 I'll have to try attaching an image later to see how it handles <a class="hashtag" href="https://fuzzyroots.net/tag/alttext" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#AltText</a>.

George DornI'm trying to get set up to contribute code to <a class="hashtag" href="https://fedi.circuitlocution.com/tag/fedilab" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#fedilab</a>, but there's not really much documentation on the right way to build that project. Has anybody managed this and could lend a hand getting me set up? There's a number of <a class="hashtag" href="https://fedi.circuitlocution.com/tag/akkoma" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#akkoma</a> bugs and bugs in general that are eating up my limited daily scrolling time that I'd like to do something about. I have built android apps in the past, and even managed to compile AndStatus myself, but that one is better documented. I'm also not a total android noob here, so "rtfm" is not really going to be helpful. Actually, what would be the most helpful? Check out the project and build it yourself, and if you succeed, tell me how you got there. Boosts welcome here.
