The emergency maintenance is complete, Social.coop is now running 2.6.4.

Social.coop will be offline for emergency maintenance briefly while we update to 2.6.4. This is to fix the queueing issue in 2.6.2 that has been causing long delays in the feeds.

There will be a short bit of downtime to perform some reconfiguration of the server.

A short period of maintenance will commence in about 5 minutes, and (hopefully) last less than a minute 😀

Hola users,

We did it! The server migration was a success!

We're now running on a fresh and shiny new server and with a new object storage service.

You might still see something wonky here and there - perhaps a missing images here and there - do let us know and we'll try and put it right.

If you have queries or problems please contact us on our chat channel riot.im/app/#/room/#SocialCoop.

Thanks!

Hello users,

The object storage migration earlier today was successful! You might notice a few missing images in toots from other instances, these will be resolved in time.

We're going to attempt to migrate to our new server too. Work on this will start in about an hour or so. The site will be offline for a short period of time, hopefully not too long 🤞

If you have queries or problems please contact us on our chat channel riot.im/app/#/room/#SocialCoop.

Thanks!

Dear users ,

We are now about to switch our media object storage provider over.

So the site will be offline for a very short time. We hope you won't notice any missing images when we come back, but if you do, this is why. Note: we've made sure all the images are safe, it should only be cached remote media which may required restoring.

If you have problems please contact us on our chat channel riot.im/app/#/room/#SocialCoop.

Thanks!
