@shauna In what world are "bots" such a significant portion of reports that they need to filter them out? I doubt they have numbers to "justify" stealing our time / labor?
@BoydStephenSmithJr in the absence of anti-bot protections, it is relatively easy to spam reporting mechanisms into uselessness. Of course, it's just as easy to also spam repositories into uselessness, which is what makes the OP interesting.
@womble Show me the data. There's no motivation to bot that mechanisms except for DoS, so there's no reason to turn on anti-bot mechanisms at normal load.
