@risabee not co-op as such but since *2007* taxi drivers in my town (#Ipswich #UK) have mobile apps for logistics/dispatch replacing VHF radios previously used for this. These apps support at *least* two taxi companies and a friendly, multicultural community of drivers (with good English skills, safe driving, safe vehicles and compliant with criminal record/background checks), cost to passengers is affordable (not even sure if Uber has market presence here)
