@mattcropp I think what stops my team from adopting Slack is not wanting to switch off something that already works. We already use email, XMPP, and face-to-face chat, so why bother with This New Thing, y'know?
What might help is continual reminders. This is how my friend got me to read a manga that I've been putting off for so long. It'll still be hard, sure, but I'll keep asking my team every now and then.

But seriously, even after receiving the company-wide email about it, it's like no one here acknowledged it. I talked to my dev lead about it and although she said she'd like to set up a channel for our team... nothing happened. Maybe I just need to be more patient.
And I don't think my coworkers are the type to appreciate #DankMemes 😓
