@mattcropp Heya, two pieces of feedback/? -- How did you select the possible time options for the tootups? Most are during the commute to or start of the US business day, which strikes me as odd. 2ndly, can we leave these open for more than 2 days in the future (particularly if it is announced over the weekend)? Thanks for all your work! Trying to figure out how to better plugin myself and others to the organizing without having to take on admin stuff.
@emily Good points, Emily. In this case, the times were literally the free spots in my schedule this week (on final approach for my day job's big annual conference), and the short timing window was based on the time sensitivity (#buytwitter vote's Monday). For future rounds, perhaps a 3-5 day voting window would be ideal? As to timing, given that we have interested folks in very diverse time-zones, I think it might make sense for rotating #tootup "hosts" to base the polls on their availability?
