Each time I opened the birdsite app I would see at least one user complaining about some broken feature or a new one that was terrible.
Each time I open the Mastodon app I see at least one user mentioning an improvement they made to the app, or thanking someone for making the app (or perhaps just their instance) better.
We are doing things right here.
@Antanicus I agree. This also cultivates a feeling of investment because your contributions have meaning (as opposed to bouncing off a deaf wall).
@jjg that's because the commons pull the best out of people. Collectively caring for something is so much better than being passive users!
