Today (and indeed this week) I am grateful for the time I get to spend with the other parents of our little local #HomeEd tribe.
This journey is often a rollercoaster, and the responsibility is sometimes terrifying. It is easy to believe it is uniquely so for our family.
Sharing experiences and knowing you are not alone stabilises and raises you up. And wow do I need that sometimes.
It goes wider than that too.
This group is where we find tolerance and understanding of #Neurodiversity, #GenderExpression, and other differences. It is where I find common ground on politics, environmentalism, anti-consumerism, alternative lifestyles, and a load more.
I don't know if this is just good fortune or if some or all of these things correlate with "likely to consider home-educating", but I am grateful either way.
