We held another pop up cafe at my house this weekend. I love hosting these.

We combined forces with mi cuñade and their LGBTQ+ youth of color org, Fortaleza Familiar.

Mileiydi made arroz trifacico and ensalada de pollo. Alice, a Venezuelan trans woman with Fortaleza, made flan.

Like the protest I went to, it was a beautiful convergence of queer, trans and immigrant communities.
