Often the right wing will say that socialism doesn't work because people don't take care of property if its not owned by them but by the state.
#workercoop movement turns this argument against them: with the same logic workers work harder in companies that are owned by workers. Empirical evidence backs this up.
@LeoSammallahti When I was interning at a tech start-up there was a guy who probably worked 50 hour weeks because he always stayed late and took his lunch at his desk. I asked my friend why he spent so much time there and she was like “well we all have stock in the company, so a better product means we get paid more”. I’d never thought about that before then
