So I started watching #Unmasked a couple of weeks ago but somehow lost interest 
Kim Hye Soo’s character was like a recycled combo version of her characters in Signal and Juvenile Justice, and I could not get past Jung Su Il’s turn from the very sexy and charismatic Ha Do Young in The Glory to the bumbling “rebellious” Han Do in this drama. Maybe I’ll give it another shot later this week? #kdrama

That caused him to get #pneumonia while in hospital. It weakened his already #immunocompromised system & he died last Summer from #LongCovid #CardiacArrest. Prior to this - Dad had no cardiac issues. His preexisting illnesses were neurological from 2 traumatic brain injuries.
Our provincial #PublicHealth is run on #eugenics - it's killing & disabling thousands of people. Our government just keeps lying to the public. They are not even properly tracking infections. Our public health authorities are a #danger to the public.

Cuz whilst I personally have a record of no issues with vaccinations, the 'Rona booster knocked me out for several days and I got the second worst shivers in my life.

In the middle of reading Ellie Middleton's Unmasked and it's giving me the same, warm, affirming feelings that I got from reading Devon Price's Unmasking Autism. Both are must reads!
Monthly blood test and alt-monthly doctor's appointment, different offices, same building. Two masked nurses, #masked doctor: plus. Three #unmasked receptionists: minus. Also three unmasked other patients (seen in passing, from a distance).
But at least the blood office is in-and-out, as usual. And the new receptionist has gotten the doctor more on schedule, so I'm shown straight into an exam room when I arrive, no waiting room. #N95 #CovidIsNotOver

Whelp, after masking profusely through the last few years my #immunocompromised wife and I finally got covid courtesy of #unmasked #bced teachers, staff and children following the almighty #BonnieHenry’s recommendations.
I blame this #BCndp completely for their dismissal of covid mitigations and gutless acceptance of societal sickness over empathy and simple measures that could have saved lives.
I’m currently out of work due to the film strikes, now my wife is out of commission as well because of this #bcndp embracing covid.
British Columbia is a cesspool of #covid but no one cares, no one is taking precautions, and no one is talking about it.

So there’s this #dating & #friendship app called #Boo that #advertises itself as an #app designed for #introverts to make matches, and is not supposed to be a #beauty competition like other dating #apps are. So I tried it out and as a lot of apps do, they ask me to post a review about the app. Well, with what I tried of the app, they basically are like every other dating app where you have to put #photos on your profile and photos are emphasized over a persons bio just like every other dating app out there. Isnt this against what the app is promoting? If there was a dating app that was truly for people who are tired of the beauty contests, it would work like this
1. No photos on the profile at all, just a bio and other necessary info.
2. People avoid seeing each others faces at first and instead only #text each other, so they can get a conversation going and get an idea of the others #personality.
3. Once a connection between two people is established though #texting, only then are #photos or a #videocall are established.
In #Japan, there was a #speeddating group where everyone put on a #mask while they were having conversations with another perosn. The people in the group had #struggles in the past with dating before, and some people managed to land a second date with the person they #matched with, where they would meet for a second time #unmasked. It goes to show that dating works better when you put personality before someone’s physical #appearance, and there needs to be a dating app that reflects that by allowing a text onyl conversation before #faces of the other person are shown.

1/2 Progress! Took me a while to build up the #spoons to chase down the #HMO for myself, rather than for my son. But I have an appt for 23rd and begin my journey! I guess doing fully #unfiltered and #unmasked with their manager and openly laying out all the crap that’s built up and ongoing left them without any retort as to why they thought, “they’ve survived this long, what good would this do?”

@chris I have multiple vids of #Saanich #Police being #unmasked & refusing to put any on after being told multiple times that they need to wear them in #immunocompromised households. I'm so angry in midst of trying to grieve for my Dad. He #died from #LongCovid too & it won't be counted as a long covid death either. I'm so fucking upset. All around. He got #covid from #unsafe hospital practices in first place.
