Season one of Andromeda is perfection. The first episode of season two and what follows seem thus far to be shitty. It's not about bringing light into darkness anymore. It's about one captain dude and every episode is about him and all the women who want to fuck him. It's grotesque.

No more quoting Marx, every time the ship shakes one of the men fall on top of the women, knocking her to the ground as if they are copulating. Love has turned to hate. Fuck the patriarchy.

if you love Star Trek, YouTube has all five seasons of Andromeda. Majel Barrett, executive producer. I like it more than the new Star Trek shows & don't have to pay Paramount+, who are shitty to their writers. Andromeda has high-quality writing. It's more Deep Space 9 than Seven of Nine.

The lead actor is now Maga, but he wasn't then so I'm just ignoring that.
