@NanoRaptor : not movie, but TV. I've always wanted the wooden mecanical hand that Ned the Piemaker uses to pet his dog Digby on Pushing Daisies ! It's a cute prop, tied to the very mythology of the show, and at the same time it's innocent enough that someone who doesn't know the reference wouldn't find it weird or nerdy to see it at my place.

Because his dog Digby is dead, and has been revived by Ned's magical powers that only work once ("first touch, life ; second touch, dead, again, forever"), he cannot pet his dog, and uses for that effect a long wooden mecanical hand that scratches Digby's head. The dog, a gentle golden retriever, lets it happen as he watches TV also.

Hey, I'm Patricia and I like a lot of stuff! Mostly #fantasy and #sci-fi which is why I'm here now :)

I'm a #Feminist and a #Ravenclaw and take #HarryPotter way too serious. Also the only sport I appreciate (by watching, not playing) is #Quidditch
