Emergent Consequences is now available on itch.io, for free!

This story follows the antics of Life, who paints the universe into being, and here twin brother, Death, who exists simply to destroy everything she creates.

Together, they create a universe that thankfully isn't our own and Life continually interferes, leading to emergent consequences.

Tonight's #TheZeldaZone stream is #Itchio games! Small, experimental, weird, alt-games, that kinda stuff!

I made a Collection with games I want to check out, if you want to suggest any to play first: itch.io/c/1524282/review-queue It's too full to accept new suggestions just yet!

We have released our Demo on Steam. Since the public alpha still available on #itch, it may appear as if nothing big has changed.

But we have made tons of progress under the hood in the time in-between.

There's internationalization, a really nice menu with settings, there's save games, the UI has been overhauled to make it more stable and intuitive, we wrapped up the story for the second part of the game and are working hard on creating a flat that is as detailed as the first room.

I just finished setting up an Itch.io profile for my writing. Ebooks of some of my work will soon appear there, starting with the five book bundle of The Wizard's Scion, on April 11, 2025.

I find this option for publishing a little odd, but I like the fact that people can pay extra for my books if they want to tip me.

The selectable royalty split is also very nice.

Hey! I'm looking to start an itch.io game bundle for queer game developers. Your game doesn't have to be about being trans or queer or even feature queer characters. I want to start the bundle for the main purpose of raising money for queer people that need it.

Your game can be really weird! Your game can be unfinished! It can be long or short! I want to not only raise money for developers like us, but I want to get eyes on our little or big projects. I'm aiming to have the bundle run for two weeks in May starting on the 17th!

There will be no tiers and money will be distributed equally amongst the developers. I want to help support developers like myself that are often overlooked by people. Not all of us have the time or money to make a long game or even a complete game, but I want to get us more money to hopefully feel securer in life each year and maybe give us more resources for our passion projects, or more importantly, things like food!

If you're interested feel free to reply here and I'll DM you!

We published our first game "Yokai Parade"! 🥳
s4g.itch.io/yokai-parade

It's a colorful platformer with hand-drawn assets in a unique style.
You are a cat yokai 🐈 that is too late to the big yokai parade because they slept in (the evening before may or may not have involved catnip). "Borrow" powers of other yokai to make it to the parade quicker and get a good spot!

Made with @godotengine as part of our first semester project by the 7 peeps of the team "Pretentious Possums". Available on @itchio for Linux and Windows.

Since yesterday I advocated strong use of defgeneric, defmethod and McCLIM's define-command, here I present

just giving lisp's defun to acl2's first order #logic.

I present a batch processing style for using acl2 both in #shell and in #lisp with a worked example.

Thoughts and opinions, gamedevs and logical types?
