I am really sick and tired of greedflation. Ground beef, $4.99/pound up from $3.99 last time I purchased it, which wasn’t that long ago. I stuck to pork, sausage and chicken because I refuse to pay that much for ground beef (a good burger on a roll is my fav)and I also will not buy any type of steaks. The one I prefer was up $6/lb and I buy the whole thing and cut it myself, it’s cheaper that way. #greedflation is rampant and the only solution is to stop buying it, so that’s what I’m doing.

Ham wraps, ham sandwiches are ridiculously expensive so I bought more ingredients instead. I wonder if it works out to be cheaper, though.

I'm too tired to do the math on it all, but I didn't want to pay $10 for one ham wrap from the fridge case. 😠 #Greedflation

“If there’s one thing we learned from the pandemic supply-chain shocks, it’s that corporate CEOs never let an emergency go to waste. Bosses, knowing that you’d been warned to expect higher prices, went ahead and jacked up their prices way over inflation, blaming it on covid, on stimulus checks, on Biden, on the phase of the moon. Blaming it on anything — except greed. That’s why we called it “excuseflation””

🇺🇸 📈 **Could Trump’s tariffs give a green light for corporate profiteering?**

_“My suspicion is, in an environment where there is a broad expectation of higher inflation in the US, where consumers are generally expecting it, companies will feel more able to go for the price increase option.”_
