Please, Touch The Artwork:

this is a fun little puzzle game where you match abstract/color-block art. i was doing pretty well right up until the mirroring challenges started and then i really had to start thinking about it. i enjoyed this one a lot. i have it on pc obviously but i remember seeing ads for a mobile version and i think it would play really well on mobile

Moon Watch:

i like the concept! it's got all the ingredients of games i like - deckbuilding, simple mechanics that can stack in interesting ways. i had fun with it for a bit but i'm also extremely bad at it. i suspect it's one of those rogeulikes where you need to die a lot at the beginning to unlock the more powerful cards. not sure how much time you need to sink in to get to that point but it's entirely possible i'm also just bad at game

Been playing Chrono Trigger on stream with a friend for the 30th anniversary (finally I rope somebody into it lol), and we got to that scene in the Ocean Palace with my wife and his cool motive still war crimes and I'm pretty sure my friend is not expecting what happens next SO excited. She seems to like him thank god. I mean your friends aren't required to have your exact taste of course but I would cry.

Hexologic:

long-time unplayed games list fans know how much i loathe a lack of clear accessible menu/settings screen and that's honestly my only beef with this game. even though the music is chill and the only controls involved are clicking, i still want an easy way to get to the menu. otherwise it's super relaxing tho, definitely something i'd load up on the steam deck for travel or waiting in long lines

Cripes, that was tense at the end.

Got to the point where I had upwards of 40 summons on the field every level, the King of Many Colours wiped *all* of them. Even though I could summon more almost every turn, I ended the fight with *three*. And those were the ones I'd summoned the last turn.

Never expected the fifth cycle to be easy exactly, although most fights until then actually were just me holding down the space bar.

Getting back into Path of Achra.

Such an absurd game. This is my naked skeleton assassin with lightning powers who did over three *million* damage on this run.

My previous character was an ape whose god gave them continually increasing strength, but hurt them if they were hit by any enemy.

The combos can be Slay the Spire level of silly, and there are *so* many character builds.
