Master System/Game Gear/SG-1000 core has been updated on Sidi too!
Core was 5 years old and it has been updated with last source code and fixes.
https://github.com/tdelage26/SiDi-FPGA/tree/master/Cores/Console/SMS
Gamate handheld core arrives to Sidi . Now you can enjoy this 90s handheld console in to your board, like in MiST.
https://github.com/tdelage26/SiDi-FPGA/tree/master/Cores/Console/Gamate
New computer on MiST! Amstrad PCW arrives to Sidi and the core works perfectly!
https://github.com/tdelage26/SiDi-FPGA/tree/master/Cores/Computer/AmstradPCW
Game Boy core has been updated for Sidi!
Now you can download two cores, one for classic Game Boy (With yellowish/green and black and white options) and the other for Game Boy Color (with backwards compatibility).
Update (26/03). Download them from Tdelage26 repository:
https://github.com/tdelage26/SiDi-FPGA/tree/master/Cores/Console/GAMEBOY
Minimig (Amiga OCS-ECS-AGA-RTG) core has been updated on MiST now with a stable version after several years
=== minimig_mist_rtg_250324.rbf ===
- Major update, refer to git history for changes

Oh hell yes, ARP and ICMP ping request reply works on my #fpga ethernet stack!
Good news open-source #FPGA fans, there's a new release of nextpnr (place and route) from @yosyshq. The release notes mention "Numerous improvements to Gowin support": https://github.com/YosysHQ/nextpnr/releases/tag/nextpnr-0.8
Oh, yeah.
Or else the whole opensource thing ends when they stick that rotten MALI or IMAGINATION video adapter on ARM or RISC, which are all proprietary and carry around patents included in the price, like Raspberry that drank blood for MPEG for how many years after the patent expired?
I mean look what is on literally all #sipeed FPGA boards with #gowin chips? HDMI connector :)
You can ask @WillFlux about the details of video on #fpga)
And a backlit mech keyboard!
News from Jotego arcade cores related to MiST and Sidi boards
- Glitch on left side of screen on JTWWFSS introduced last Friday fixed.
- JTALIENS: PCM volume in Super Contra increased.
- New game using JTPANG core : Dokaben 2.
My ARP impl in Spade now works, my computer can ask who has the IP address of the #FPGA, and it replies correctly :)
Still incredibly pleased with this stream based network packet API. It makes packet transformation super easy, and nicely decouples "fmax buffers" from behaviour
Also very pleasing that Spade is now expressive enough to do all of this
Schon lange her :), further testing of our #fpga mic array. ddr finally works properly and now testing filters
Playing with colours and circles, errr I mean stress-testing the engine. I've been having a few timing issues on ECP5 #FPGA.
Me he mudado de instancia y no he hecho aún la #presentación...
Woot another 4 voices built and tested (simple saw tooth filter sweep).
Bottom to top ;
- Alchitry AU fpga
- 4 vcf/vca voice card
- another 4 vcf/vca card
- STM32 card for midi and patch storage
- Alchitry BR to give me access to pins
The whole thing consumes about 450mA so far but the FPGA isn’t doing much yet, just generating a sawtooth and 32 delta-sigma DACs for the audio and CVs.
This has been brought to my attention

Haskell for FPGA Hardware Design: Use abstractions like monads and lenses to implement 1970's retro-computing devices like arcade machines and home computers.
It's about time I updated my recommended #FPGA links. Send me a suggestion this #FPGAFriday. https://projectf.io/recommended-fpga-sites/
Yay!
Several months of work on the #openXC7 #opensource #FPGA toolchain, and the first tangible result:
This LED means, that the GTX PLL has lock!
@moldavia Are you following any hashtags directly? That's helped me find some good people to follow. Like #electronics and #fpga for example.
