LaZarzamora🔴ORGANIZACIONES Y COMUNIDADES AMENAZADAS POR MEGAPROYECTOS EN ALERTA ANTE PLAN DE FORTALECIMIENTO INDUSTRIAL DEL BIOBÍO Por: La Zarzamora Tras el cierre de la Compañía Siderúrgica de Huachipato, el gobierno de Boric junto a algunos gremios deciden sin ninguna participación de la población regional, imponer un «Plan de Fortalecimiento Industrial», también conocido como «Plan Grau», para supuestamente «disminuir el impacto laboral y productivo de corto plazo» provocado por la salida de la siderúrgica, lo cierto es que este plan comprende agilizar la instalación de megaproyectos que han sido rechazados por la población (como la Minera Aclara, ex BioLantánidos) y que traerán mayor devastación de la naturaleza, contaminación y destrucción de la calidad de vida de las comunidades que habitan en una región que ha sufrido históricamente las consecuencias de la explotación de materias primas. ...Lejos de buscar una solución al problema, de tener un mínimo de conocimiento de la historicidad de contaminación de la región y de las necesidades de las comunidades del biobío, este plan mantiene y agudiza la dependencia de los habitantes a trabajos que destruyen su propio entorno natural y comunitario, en vez de proporcionar alternativas que eviten agudizar el problema de contaminación marítima, de las aguas y del aire de la población del biobío, lo que hacen es condenar al territorio a su exterminio, con una sobre explotación que supera cualquier lógica y una contaminación residual que evidentemente tendrá consecuencias irreparables para la vida animal, humana, comunitaria y vegetal.
