Artemis<p>New fabric coming in means I need to get rid of old fabric. There's a creative reuse store in town that takes craft supply donations. I'll be dropping off these 2 bags of fabric for them to resell. We've got several larger pieces of cotton (sheet-sized), a number of smaller shiny or decorative fabrics, several bags of leather scraps, and a bag of wool scraps. barefootstache<p>Looking into welding a hollow steel d20 dice aka icosahedron.</p><p>There are three factors that are dependent on the final result:</p><p>- thickness of the steel sheet metal,<br>- length of the equilateral triangle, and<br>- diameter as twice the circumradius.</p><p>Looked at sheet metal thickness of 2-5 mm and triangle length of 75-200 mm where the end resulting weight is 0.78-13.9 kg without the reduction/addition of welding and using steel density of 0.008 g/mm^3. Heather :chickadee:<p>And the second stone is a little one I made for myself, a "worry stone" to replace my old one which I gave to a friend.</p><p>This stone features thick dollops of gloss glaze on top of the dot shapes forming a raised/textured surface that is wonderfully tactile and lovely to rub your fingers over. It turns the stones into lovely little fidget toys or meditation tools.</p><p>Anyway, I'm really fond of this one! It feels wonderful to hold and to fidget with.
