I have a #plumbing problem at home that I've been putting off and is getting worse than anyone else in the house realizes and it is causing me SO MUCH STRESS. ("putting off" "nobody else realizes" and "stress" all doubtless thanks to #adhd)

"Just call a plumber!"

OK, so first of all, duh.

But also, the root cause is actually a sewer line issue and plumbers don't deal with that. Whereas the sewer people don't do plumbing. The sewer people also didn't seem too concerned about the weird geometry and 200y+ stone wall I'd like to preserve.

What I really need is a general contractor(?) who I can just point at this problem and THEY can wrangle the right professionals and make sure they fix the right things and don't break the wrong things.

Do they do that?

Something I would like to make in #rust is a #libc wrapper that uses type-level contracts and optional (maybe debug-by-default) runtime checks. I like Rustix, but I'd like to make something that you can use with magnitudes less footguns.

If you know of a company/team that would be willing to fund such work, I'd be eager to get connected!
