I met a great friend for a walky-talky (along the river walkway )
Last night I was able to prepare a quick salad to eat with leftovers having done a 12+ hour day

What a shot!!
We made it along to #Zealandia yesterday and again today - as we entered yesterday the kind person at the counter explained that our ticket was good for two days .
So many amazing sights - saddlebacks, kaka, a takahē, nesting shags and three kakariki chattering in the tree near the path we were on, absolutely exciting to see them all

About the same time each morning I line myself up between a couple of fence posts and snap a photo of the trees and the ranges, and the sunrise. Nothing particularly splendid here except for the joy I get looking at the view.
