Markus HoferAfter month-long struggles with bluetooth dropping out on Win 11 again and again and again every single day, leading to a stuck mouse and keys endlessly repeating, I finally solved the problem by using the damn Logi dongles instead of BT. Now I've permanently blocked up 2 USB ports with a dongle for the keyboard and a dongle for the mouse, but at least it's working. Same setup used to work perfectly fine for years on Win 10. INKIn case anyone is reading and trying to figure out how to remove Microsoft Edge from a fully updated Windows 11 install: The guide listed below still works, but only once you downgrade Edge. You can downgrade using winget. I used UniGetUI, which uses winget on the backend as well as other sources. The version I tried is <code>124.0.2478.97</code>. Going too far back gives an error. After that you need to execute this tool from an elevated command line prompt: <code>./vivetool /enable /id:44353396</code> (The program is available here): <a href="https://github.com/thebookisclosed/ViVe/releases" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://github.com/thebookisclosed/ViVe/releases</a> Reboot. After that just add your country to the list of countries in the European Economic Area and mark them as eligible for uninstall. (See guide below, or the summary) The file you want to edit is <code>Windows\System32\IntegratedServicesRegionPolicySet.json</code>. - You need to give yourself permission to edit the file: File properties > Security > Advanced > Change (link next to the owner at the top) - Here, type <code>Administrators</code> and hit the button on the right of the text field, click Accept. - Select Administrators from the list and click edit to give yourself write access - Click accept on all windows to apply changes. FOSStasticI just installed Windows 10 Home on a device. I never realized how crappy <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Windows" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Windows</a> has become in my opinion.My first mistake was connecting it to the internet in the setup wizard, as it then tried to force me to create and sign into a <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Microsoft" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Microsoft</a> account. I then researched this, but none of the <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Win11" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Win11</a> tricks worked on <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Win10" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Win10</a>.I managed to disconnect from the WLAN again by opening the command line (Shift + F10) and typing "netsh wlan disconnect". Afterwards I could create an offline account.
