@Sustainable2050 Ostseezeitung: Entry refused, they will be deported. When they heard this, they both burst into tears. "It was a shock, we didn't expect it," says Maria Lepère. "We had already heard a bit about what was going on in the #USA. But at the time, we didn't think it would happen to #Germans. That was perhaps very naive. We felt so small and powerless." #whiteprivilege

Is it me or this nobody who gets famous by licking transphobes' a$$ rather than actually winning a competition also managed to make it a display of racism?

Taking a knee has important significance in the Civil Rights Movement. It's a gesture against racism and discrimination.

This white person actually thought she was discriminated and had a right to take a knee.
It's #WhitePrivilege and #CulturalAppropriation all in one.

Variety · John Boyega: 'Star Wars' Is So White and Fans Reject Black HeroesBy Zack Sharf

in my opinion, there are 2 key takeaways from 'white fragility' by robin diangelo:

1. racism is not an ‘either / or’ binary but rather a continuum &
2. the challenge is to accept and grapple with this truth.

in 'what white people can do next', emma dabiri unveils race as a social construct—something invented rather than something that has always existed.

i loved her voice throughout the narrative. it isn't just strong or matter-of-fact. it's fierce, it's frustrated, it's hopeful, it's kind. it is all of these things, and it is entirely one of a kind.

@ErgonWolf I care, friend. I just wish more people did or could even admit what's happening, to themselves.

I'm putting up flyers, stickers, "On Tyranny" in Liitle Free Libraries. All trying to wake my neighbors up to the threat.

I'm organizing on here and in encrypted chats. Especially if things get as bad as we know they can.

I've created threads on White Christian Nationalism, Policing & Prison Profits, Big Social & LGBTQ+ issues on a discussion board frequented by mostly middle class to uppermiddle class cis-het white normies.

@lavaeolus and many others are working diligently to save our research and data from the DOGE purge.

We need people with projectors in high traffic areas showing the normies what's going on because most of them have hid their heads in their #WhitePrivilege.

I'm afraid it's going to take a major economic collapse before they come out of their stupor.

tldr: I care & so do others. We just need more.

@ErickaSimone
Laffy used her #WhitePrivilege to bravely flee to Canada and now, rather than concentrate on fixing her new country's own substantial failings, continues to trade on spamming #USPolitics, including and especially bashing Dems.
White people are responsible for this mess, but they won't TAKE responsability.
It's a mutual block, but she keeps popping up with new accounts to keep her clout so I'm constantly playing whack a mole with her posts.
