Today was a bit odd.

Did over 27,000 steps according to my phone, covered a whole lot of ground, barely took any photos at all. Both of these have the dimmest viewfinders known to man; I should have just taken the Leica.

(Or, alternatively, sourced an M42 lens that had a larger aperture than f/4.5.)

'In 2019, conservators ... made an intriguing discovery while examining The Design Registers, a collection within the Board of Trade records. Among the designs, they found several early photographs mounted on an unusual black backing material.

The distinctive appearance of these images led to further investigation, ultimately revealing them to be pannotypes – a rare 19th-century photographic process.'
