So, Kingsley's Adventure for #PS1 is a good example of picking a game to play on a whim. I saw the thumbnail, title screen, and a screenshot and I knew I had to play it.
It has a fox with a sword! How could I say no?!
Playing as Kingsley the fox, we are saving the fruit kingdom from Bad Custard, who has stolen the book of magic from the castle.
The game has a lot of charm. From the character models to the environment design, the music. All these things set you up for a good time... Until you start wrestling with the controls. Tanky control in a platformer is a choice I don't agree with. The jumping at times will be your biggest hurdle as it can be difficult to gauge distances.
If the controls don't turn you off, the game itself is a decent little jaunt. It's under baked in places, combat is basic, villages are populated by devoid of additional content besides finding the right person to talk to.
It wasn't a bad way to spend my Sunday.

I had a good time gaming with @Nio yesterday! But I do need to apologize, as I was a bit annoyed by pain and a yapping dog... 
Sorry bout that! 
But I made some progress with the NMS expedition, finishing up phase 3. Just two more to go!
Some quests are "easy" ones and others can be more challenging or annoying even. But I guess there needs to be some challenge. 
I spent quite some time to snap a pic of at least 5 ground animals together. And then getting that rare fish was something annoying as well. 
The quests sound simple but with the terrain and well, loads of bad weather (and no "baby settings during expeditions), yeah... It's something you need to have some luck with, I guess.
But I got the snap and the fish! 
Onwards to phase 4 (and 5).
Hopefully I can play some more this week, but I do have a few appointments here and there... And, I still need to weed out my ugly gardens! 
I haven't even checked the rewards of the expedition, so I hope we're getting some fun things.

Fini Gensou Suikogaiden vol.1 (la fantraduction anglaise bien entendu).
Ce n'est pas parfait ou particulièrement indispensable. Mais ce fut un plaisir de retrouver Nash (un personnage important et intéressant dans #Suikoden3).
Et puis le chapitre de Sierra ou la partie Elza (un bout d'un autre chapitre) sont cools.
7/10. Pas plus. C'est vraiment pour les fans. Particulièrement pour les fanatiques de #Suikoden2

I had some hours of gaming earlier today/almost yesterday... 
@Nio and I started the expedition with the new update of No Man's Sky, expedition number 18: Relics.
We played solo but we chatted while we were going our way.
So far I was/am really enjoying it. I got halfway phase two when it was time for me to log off. I usually just try to follow the phases, and if I get some bits (without knowing) from other phases first, then that's just easier when I do get to that phase.
But usually the expedition offers the things you need in the area they send you to for a certain phase so that works out well enough. Although I did get back to an earlier area when I needed some bones, as the planet they directed me to was not an easy one and it drove me nuts. So I traveled to a previous one and that made it a lot easier.
I hope that we can play some more this Sunday. I know I can play solo, but it's much more fun when you can chat and discuss the bits while you're both doing them.
Anywhoo, I am really enjoying this expedition so far. But maybe the next phases will be harder to do, so who knows what will happen then? (no I don't need spoilers and I know I can check it when I'm online, it was a rethorical question ).
Fingers crossed
