Hi all, I work in #NatureRecovery and #WildlifeConservation and have set this up as a semi-professional account to chat about #GIS (using #ArcGIS and #QGIS), #drones / #UAV for surveys, and generally tech in nature monitoring. I'm based in south west Wales and I also like looking at actual live animals instead of through a screen, and being outside generally. (I say, as I spend a huge amount of my time indoors on the computer). #Introduction #Introductions

Really pleased and grateful to receive #Leverhulme funding for our new project: "Carbon Futures in the Mire? A #PoliticalEcology of #Peat #Restoration and Remaking". Led by @JamesR_Palmer@twitter.com and @kargkama, the 3-year grant explores #Knowledge #Controversies around #Peatland #Restoration for #CarbonStorage, #NatureBasedSolutions & #NatureRecovery in the UK and Estonia. There'll be 2 post-doc opportunities soon at Bristol and Birmingham: watch this place & follow @PeatScapes@twitter.com for updates! 🙏 @geography
