VeGaNGoTHMichael Strunge – Dänischer Punk-Poet im Club27„Nu kan jeg flyve“ (Jetzt kann ich fliegen) waren die letzten Worte von Michael Strunge, bevor der dänische postmoderne Dichter, der unter Depressionen litt, heute vor 39 Jahren, am 09.03.1986, in einer manischen Phase aus einem Fenster im vierten Stock sprang. Er wurde 27 Jahre alt. Bis heute ist er einer der am meisten studierten Dichter in Dänemark.Seinen Ersten von 11 Gedichtbänden veröffentlichte Strunge 1978. Er trägt den Titel eines Songs von David Bowie, „Speed Of Life“ (vom Album „Low“), im dänischen „Livets hastighed“. Ich bin erst vor wenigen Tagen auf ihn gestoßen, als ich auf der Suche nach dänischen Büchern war. Michael Strunge war im Herzen ein Punk. Seine Gedichte handeln von Sex, Tod, Ohnmacht, dem anonymen Leben in der Großstadt (Kopenhagen, Berlin) und der Liebe. Er war auch politisch, beschäftigte sich jedoch mehr mit Leben und Sterben, sicher auch aufgrund seiner Depression.<pre> Wir sind in Trance und Sehnsucht überschreiten die Grenzen zwischen den Geschlechtern zwischen den Dimensionen der Wirklichkeit, tanzen in Tranceformationen irgendwo in der schlafenden Stadt aus "Natmaskinen" (Die Nachtmaschine)</pre> Er war ein großer Musikliebhaber, neben David Bowie verehrte er Bands und Künstler wie Lou Reed, The Clash, Echo & The Bunnymen, Joy Division, New Order, The Cure und Talking Heads.Leider wurden seine Gedichte nicht ins Deutsche übersetzt, „Livets hastighed“ habe ich in Englisch („Speed Of Life“) und Italienisch („La Velocità Della Vita“) gefunden. Ich will ja sowieso mein Dänisch verbessern, daher habe ich mir die Gesamtausgabe im dänischen Original gekauft. Das war schließlich auch meine Absicht, als ich in einem Onlineshop für skandinavische Bücher zufällig auf Michael Strunge gestoßen bin, neben Harry Potter auf Dänisch, Jussi Adler Olsen, H. C. Andersen und Tanja Blixen.
