An absolutely fantastic experience.

Crafts fair with many workshops. Bought some wood, forged a copper poppy, and created a felt frog. Met so many nice people, including a interesting man who gave me a upcycled candle stick.

What a great day.

Researchers are working with the Skeetchestn Natural Resources Corporation to investigate #wildlife #recovery & #ecosystem #restoration through the territory.

And they have one animal in particular in their sights.

They are working to build the mule deer populations, which have lost #habitat and winter #forging areas due to #wildfires and decades of #logging

Skeetchestn is pursuing #hunting restrictions to increase mule deer numbers.

Kratos Twin Blades developing nicely.
I decided to go with spikes on the blades as those would make a real blade unusable.
For the same reason I kept them quite sturdy, even if they will never see use. I prefer if they are somewhat usable in theory.
I haven’t decided yet how to do the handles and chain attachment.

I got back into #Woodworking because my daughter wants to get into forging and she mentioned knives and I was all "I can make the handles!"

And then I realized I want to make more than knife handles, but I also really want to make knife handles.

So, #Forging #Metalworking people, who has suggestions about classes for my daughter's beginner forging classes? She seems to be more interested in one-on-one, but is not against a whole class.

Since this is worldwide, I'm mostly asking what I should look for in what a class offers.
