Das Bild präsentiert eine weite Landschaft aus der Vogelperspektive, wobei eine markante Flussschleife den Mittelpunkt bildet. Der Fluss windet sich fast kreisförmig durch dicht bewaldete Hügel und spiegelt das sanfte Licht wider, was ihm einen spiegelähnlichen Effekt verleiht. Die Hügel sind von einem dichten Blätterdach aus verschiedenen Grüntönen bedeckt, wobei einige Bereiche dunkler erscheinen, was auf Schatten oder unterschiedliche Vegetation hinweisen könnte. Das gesamte Bild ist in sanfte, warme Farben getaucht. Der Himmel im Hintergrund zeigt einen Übergang von einem hellen Gelbton zu einem zarten Violett, was auf das Licht der aufgehenden oder untergehenden Sonne hindeutet, die die rechte Seite der Flussschleife stärker beleuchtet. Im Vordergrund sind Teile von Büschen oder niedrigen Pflanzen in braunen und grünen Farbtönen zu sehen, was auf eine Übergangsjahreszeit hindeutet. Das Bild vermittelt ein Gefühl von Ruhe und Frieden, wobei die weite Landschaft und die sanften Farben zum Verweilen und Genießen des Moments einladen. Die Vogelperspektive ermöglicht einen umfassenden Blick auf die Schönheit der Natur.

A boat at the beach of Imbassaí (Bahia, Brazil) during sunset.
Imbassaí is wonderful small village directly by the Atlantic Ocean approximately 80 km north of Salvador. The former indigenous village has become a touristic center in the region, due to its amazing location and beauty. It’s directly located where a river with the same name (Imbassaí) flows into the ocean. The river separates the beaches, which are located on an offshore island, from the land. That means if you’re on the beach island you can choose between the wild saltwater of the Atlantic Ocean or the calm sweet water of the Imbassaí river.

At the shore of a river are three boats. One longboat is in the water, two short ones are placed on a bamboo construction.

A couple wooden boats are fixed together in the open Walter of a river. The boats are filled with equipment for fishing.

This night, it was very clear. A ship approaches on the river, its bright navigation lights shining directly toward the photographer. Despite the glare, the delicate presence of Mercury can still be seen in the sky.
