I told a contact living in Finland via direct message that I was trying to buy a gift for my brother living in that country and there seemed no easy way to do that from Canada. This great girl found a store selling the product in the town my brother lives in, sent me the address and url of the store, the manager's name and email address and even gave advice on how to word my email to avoid my contact email going into their spam.
I know she is a very busy person with a lot of cares and responsibilities in her personal life, so her time is precious. She nonetheless told me to tell her if I had any trouble, saying she would phone the store for me and talk to them in Finnish! I won't mention her here so she doesn't get inundated with help requests. But she knows who she is.

Ich bräuchte 3x (tiefgezogene?) Behälter mit einem Ablauf, UV-beständig, wasserfest und frostsicher. Der linke Controller (blau) ist kaputt, also mindestens einer. Im Set ginge auch.
Gibt es eigentlich Aufkleber o.Ä., die Random Leute, die nur etwas verkaufen/Stimmen fangen/Spenden einsammeln/über Gott reden wollen, darauf hinweist, dass ich solche Besuche nicht wünsche?

Ich esse #Röstzwiebeln sehr gerne, habe sie aber jahrelang nicht mehr gekauft, da immer Palmöl verwendet wurde. Nun habe ich welche gefunden, die komplett nur aus Zwiebeln bestehen. Laut Packung wurden sie getoastet. Leider sind sie zu teuer, um sie regelmäßig und in großen Mengen zu kaufen.
Hat jemand eine Idee, ob und wie man sie selbst herstellen kann?

Welche Sonnencreme zum eincremen oder als Roller könnt ihr empfehlen? Ich würd gern bei Rossmann oder DM kaufen/bestellen. Mittlerweile bin ich verunsichert weil so viele so schlecht sind und tausend neue Marken jede Jahr gefühlt raus kommen. 
Der kleine ist 3, er hasst es generell sich eincremen zu lassen. Und ich bin bei mir selbst auch sehr ähm .. faul was Sonnencreme betrifft. 
Tipps? Marken? Her damit!

Die abgebildete Küchenwaage, "Dr. Oetker" max. 2000g d=1g, von Leifheit funktionier seit den 90ern, wenn sogar 80er.
Was unglaublich ist, denn ich habe noch nie die Batterie gewechselt. Das ist nicht einmal vorgesehen.
Langsam frage ich mich, ob da eine radioaktive Batterie drin ist.
Kennt jemand diese Waage und kann sogar erklären, welche Art Batterie damals gefertigt werden konnte, die mehr als 30 Jahre hält?

For anyone on mastodon.social, be aware that mutuals are currently showing as followed only, this is on the hover over cards, the "following" list on your profile, and on the mutuals profile pages. None are shown as mutuals. As far as I can tell, the only place it shows the correct information is on the "Follows and followers" section of your "edit profile" section. This may cause problems. Hey Fedi, I need your help finding a comic character. It's a little girl, drawn probably in black and white, and has probably been around since long before the 90s. She's really small, looks about as wide as she is tall, and has dark hair that maybe also covers her eyes, I'm not sure. And I think she's kind of a tomboy.
She's somewhat similar to Nancy, Lucy from the Peanuts, or Susie Derkins (all three pictured here), but she's neither of them.
Any ideas?

Kennt sich jemand mit Osmand+ aus?
Ich hab das von f-droid für android installiert, also die Plus Version.
Ich würde gerne ein Osmand Cloud backup machen um die Routen auch am PC bearbeiten zu können.
Solange die app frisch installiert ist, funktioniert die Synchronisierung, sobald ich in der app Routen und Punkte erstellt habe startet sync kurz und es kommt die Fehlermeldung "abgelaufenes Abonnement"
