I'm nobody important within the government. I'm just one more cog, my job is to stop tourists from getting themselves killed. In this current situation, what I can do is pretty limited, beyond simply continuing to tell people the true history of this country, uncensored and uninhibited by the current administration's desire to push a false historical narrative on this country.But I want to say that, if you happen to read this, I admire you. I am grateful, to the core of my being, that there are people with influence, with important jobs, who are willing to put that on the line to uphold their oaths, and to protect the little guys like us. You make it possible for us to continue to reach out to the American people, to show them the best and worst of what America is and was.So many government employees have taken the easy road, either passively or actively collaborating with the administration and its illegal actions, enabling its cronies, and showing just how worthless their word is.You did the right thing, and you were punished for it. And I am sorry for that.This world is not just. And maybe your only reward will be my admiration...but, for all that is worth:Thank you. You held the line. In an era of cowards, you shine bright.
