🇺🇸 I'm surprised to see a republican #US president talking or joking about a third term. Wouldn't the necessary constitutional change directly challenge the #conservative principles of their voter base?

Isn't this something #democrats & #republicans would agree on? 🤷

FACT FOCUS: Dem leaders' challenge to Trump's election executive order misrepresented online

Social media users, incl elected #GOP officials, are erroneously claiming top #Dems filed a lawsuit to allow noncitizen #voting in US #elections.

It's a brazen lie.

But you already figured that. B/c lying about #Dems & #GOP screw-ups is the GOP brand now.

Demagogue

The point is reached where ballots are used to ruin #democracy just as effectively as bullets. #Elections resemble rowdy plebiscites, public rituals, carnivals of political seduction, or celebrations of the mighty power of the state, endorsed by the votes of millions of loyal followers.

Talk of conspiracies, scapegoating, boastful exaggerations, clownery, and bullshit continue to be spread by media organs loyal to the demagogue.

ABC News · Why regional Queensland is an election wildcardBy Lucy Sweeney

#NorthCarolina's #Republican majority Court of Appeals sided w/the GOP candidate in a suit contesting last year's State #SupremeCourt #election.

The decision could result in ~64k ballots being thrown out, handing the election to the Republican instead of the Democratic Justice who won.

The case will likely be appealed.

"He offered cash rewards of $100 for filling out his petition against activist judges, $20 for canvassing, and $1 million in a sweepstakes (which was won by spokespeople)."

So he offered the smallest amount imaginable from the richest person on Earth to the only ones among this group who actually did any work. That's how he thinks. Offering more than $20 as a wage would go against his morals of exploiting the working class. smfh

Ok, this is really good, Yoon is out. All justices agreed, no hint of dissent. Now to the spaces outside the court, assembly, etc. — hopefully Yoon's fashy little minions will go home peacefully and have themselves a nice long cry in private.

New election to be held by June 3.
